Cooks' Information

  1. We are offering prize money of $14,770. We payout to 10 places in the 4 prime categories and 5 places in all other categories.
    1. Chicken
    2. Pork Ribs
    3. Pork Butt
    4. Beef Brisket
  2. We have a payout of $4,000 for 1st through 3rd place and entry into 2011 for fourth place and plaque for fifth place.
  3. Wings and Sausage are furnished by Cargill Foods
  4. We are offering $740 in prize money for Friday night Judged Awards for Chicken Wings.
  5. We are adding Sausage and Anything Seafood to the contest on Saturday.
  6. Homemade sauces only!
  7. We are a qualifier for the World Brisket Championship for 2012 in Great Bend KS
  8. $1,000 bonus prize money for the team that has the highest score after competing in Blazin' Belmont Days June 10th-11th, the Big Island Barbeque August 26th-27th, and two other sanctioned Minnesota contests of their choice. Marshall's contest has moved to the weekend before BIB, so that event counts as well. Applications for Canterbury are available here.
